Zy Yazan is a bilingual (Arabic/English) content platform and freelance marketplace based in Damascus, Syria. It provides:

• A library of editorial content across translation, content creation, AI tools, and professional development for Arab freelancers.
• A marketplace connecting freelancers (translators, content writers) with clients seeking Arabic-language content services.
• Communication and project coordination tools for registered users.

Zy Yazan is a facilitator, not a party to any service agreement between freelancers and clients. We do not guarantee the quality, delivery, or outcome of any service arranged through the platform.

To register and use platform features beyond reading, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration and keep it updated.
• Maintain the security of your account credentials. You are solely responsible for all activity under your account.
• Not share your account, impersonate another person, or create multiple accounts to circumvent a suspension or ban.

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate accounts that violate these Terms, without prior notice in cases of serious breach.

Freelancers agree to:

• Represent their skills, experience, and availability honestly.
• Deliver work of the quality and scope agreed upon with the client.
• Communicate clearly and respond to client messages within a reasonable timeframe.
• Not solicit clients to move transactions outside the platform before a project is completed.

Clients agree to:

• Provide clear, accurate briefs and respond to freelancer questions in a timely manner.
• Release payment upon satisfactory delivery, in accordance with the agreed scope.
• Not request work that violates applicable law, third-party rights, or these Terms.
• Not solicit freelancers to bypass the platform’s payment system.

When the payment system is activated, the following terms will apply:

• Freelancers set their own prices and delivery timelines. Zy Yazan does not regulate rates.
• Payments are processed through available methods. Cryptocurrency payments are currently preferred where supported.
• A platform commission of 8% will be applied to each completed and paid transaction.
• Funds released by the client are final. Disputes must be raised within 10 days of delivery.
• Zy Yazan reserves the right to hold funds in escrow during active disputes.

The following are strictly prohibited on Zy Yazan:

• Providing false information, impersonating another person or entity, or misrepresenting qualifications.
• Engaging in fraud, spam, phishing, or any form of deceptive practice.
• Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users in any manner.
• Sharing or soliciting the exchange of personal contact details (email, phone, social media) with the intent to bypass the platform before a project is formally completed.
• Uploading or transmitting content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes the intellectual property rights of any third party.
• Attempting to interfere with, hack, or disrupt the platform’s systems or security.
• Using automated tools or bots to interact with the platform without express written permission.

Platform content: All editorial content published on Zy Yazan — articles, series, visual design, and branding — is the property of Zy Yazan and is protected under applicable copyright law. Reproduction or redistribution without written permission is prohibited.

Delivered work: Upon full payment, the client acquires a license to use the delivered work for the agreed purpose. Ownership of the final deliverable transfers to the client unless a separate written agreement specifies otherwise.

Freelancer rights: Freelancers retain the right to display delivered work in their portfolio unless explicitly agreed otherwise with the client prior to project commencement.

We encourage all users to resolve disputes through direct, good-faith communication. If a resolution cannot be reached:

• Either party may request platform mediation by contacting support@zyyazan.sy.
• Zy Yazan may review the evidence submitted by both sides and propose a resolution, but is not legally bound to any outcome.
• We reserve the right to hold disputed funds until a resolution is reached or the dispute period expires.
• Zy Yazan’s mediation decision is final within the scope of the platform. Users retain the right to pursue legal remedies independently.

Zy Yazan provides its platform and content on an “as is” basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability.

• We are not liable for the quality, accuracy, legality, or timely delivery of services arranged between users.
• We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.
• In all cases, our maximum liability to any user shall not exceed the total platform fees we received in connection with the specific transaction giving rise to the claim.

Your use of Zy Yazan is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the platform, you consent to the data practices described therein.

We may update these Terms at any time to reflect changes in the platform, applicable law, or our practices. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.

Your continued use of Zy Yazan after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If changes are material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify registered users.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Syria, without regard to its conflict of law principles. For users in jurisdictions where local law may apply, nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable mandatory law.
